Individual and Couples Therapy in Toronto’s West End
Noema is a small group practice near Trinity Bellwoods offering therapy and counselling for individuals and couples. We work with people navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, relationship struggles, life transitions, and many other topics. Our therapists bring warmth, depth, and genuine curiosity to every session — and we work in person, so you have a place to land.

Collaborative, Focused
We build a clear therapy roadmap that’s tailored to you and focused on helping you heal.
Our Philosophy
Noema refers to the content of thought — what the mind is truly directed toward. We chose the name because it points at something we care about: understanding your inner world, not just the surface of it.
We believe therapy works best when it's clear, collaborative, and actually moves you forward. We don't start from scratch each week or treat sessions like check-ins. Instead, we build momentum, each conversation deepens the last, and we track progress as we go, because you should be able to feel the difference. We work with you to understand yourself better, develop new tools, and heal. We draw on cognitive, somatic, and relational approaches, shaped around you, not applied to you

What We Offer
We offer a range of services for adults who are seeking support and personal growth.
-
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready for something to shift, individual therapy offers a personalized space to dive into what’s going on beneath the surface.
-
Every relationship has its hard seasons. Couples therapy offers a place to have the conversations that feel too big for the living room — with support, without judgment, and with tools for moving forward.
-
In a neurofeedback session, sensors read your brain's activity in real time and offer it back as feedback — usually through sound or visuals. Over time, your brain learns from that feedback and begins to self-regulate more easily. It's gentle, evidence-informed, and often effective where other approaches haven't been.
-
Your body knows things your mind hasn't caught up to yet. Somatic therapy creates space to slow down and listen — to sensation, to impulse, to the places where emotion lives in the body. It's particularly useful for people who feel disconnected from their emotional experience, or who sense that something is stuck but can't quite reach it through talking alone.
